Dynamic local businessman Chris Carter, the owner of Home Instead Senior Care is taking to the streets of Norwich in a direct attempt to recruit people for his job vacancies. Chris currently has up to 40 vacancies and says he can’t sit back and wait for the right people to find him so he is going out to look for them himself!
Such is the success of his business, which provides at home care for the elderly that he needs to expand his team fast! Chris explains: “This is a great position to be in, clients queuing up for our services means many more jobs for local people. We need to move fast because having more caregivers allows us to help more people. It may seem a bit extreme but by going out to meet people face to face we are aiming to dispel a few myths about the role and attract a wide range of people who may not have considered this job before but who would be fantastic at it.”
Chris and members of his team will be on the lookout for Norwich’s most compassionate people every Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon in Gentleman’s walk. They are also holding a recruitment open day at Eaton Parish Hall, Colman Road on Wednesday 8th August from 10am to 4pm.
