Home Instead Senior Care - South Liverpool, is supporting Liverpool Community Health's 2012 Campaign "Year of Cancer". Chris Price - Health & Wellbeing Manager NHS PCT, explained to Gary Wells - CSR South Liverpool, it is important the community is aware of cancer and recognising the early signs of Breast, Lung & Bowel Cancer is of most importance to there lives. Treating cancer at an early age will prolong someone's life for longer.
The campaign is part of the Decade of Health & Wellbeing campaign in the city and Home Instead Senior Care - South Liverpool is delighted to be supporting this campaign as one way or the other we have all experienced someone close has or had cancer in there life.
As Gary Wells explains, this campaign is close to my heart as my father had bowel cancer at 42 years old, which is quite young for someone to develop this disease, which my sister and I am screened every five years. And this is why i want to support this campaign.
