Local at-home care company Home Instead Senior Care is on course to achieve its first year goal of creating 40 new jobs in the area. In just six months since they opened their doors for business they have already recruited 19 CAREGivers and a new Care Manager, Nick Twigger who is based at their offices in Bingham.
The company delivers care across East Nottinghamshire including Bingham, Southwell, Newark, Radcliffe on Trent and Melton Mowbray to older people which helps them to stay in their own homes for longer. New Care Manager, Nick Twigger, has been working within the care industry since the tender age of 18 and so brings with him 26 years of valuable experience and on the job training within the sector. Highly qualified for the Care Manager role, Nick has achieved industry qualifications such as the Registered Manager Award, Small Scheme Manager Award and the Institution of Occupational Health and Safety Award.
Nick comments on what drew him to joining the Home Instead team “After working for the same care provider for almost 26 years I felt it was time to finally spread my wings and see what else was out there. I researched a number of roles within different areas of the care sector but was particularly attracted to the core values and ethical stance of Home Instead and felt that it offered a care service which was unique to other providers in the industry.”
Home Instead owner Richard Aram from Scarrington, comments “We have recruited a great team of CAREGivers who have received comprehensive training to ensure that we consistently deliver high quality care. We aim to tailor our care to the requirements of each individual client and, judging from the excellent feedback that we are receiving from our clients, the team is getting it right.“
