Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk 2012 – taking place on Sunday 16 September at Bute Park, Cardiff.
Every September people bring their families and friends along to Alzheimer’s Society’s national flagship fundraising event. Everyone walks with a common goal: fighting dementia. If you join in this year you’ll be with like-minded people raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society which aims to provide services that improve the lives of people living with dementia in the local area. The Cardiff Memory Walk will be a day to remember, with lots of activities and entertainment to enjoy. There are two walks to choose from, a one mile fully accessible route and for anyone wanting to go a little further there is a 12.5K option threading through adjoining park lands and along the River Taff. You can get more information and register on line at www.memorywalk.org.uk
