Home Instead Senior Care,South Buckinghamshire, is delighted to announce two new appointments to their team, care manager, Jill Bitcheno and care co-ordinator, Kim Wells.

Jill, from Flackwell Heath, is a former nursing sister in A & E at Wycombe General Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital in Slough. She brings 29 years’ experience as a nursing practitioner to the role and is passionate about delivering high quality care. She explains:

“I was looking for a new challenge, although I still wanted to remain in a caring related role. I’d heard of Home Instead and was impressed by their ethos and the standards of care and service that they represent.

Away from the office, Jill is very involved with her local church and enjoys getting out into the great outdoors and hill walking.

Local lady, Kim Wells also joins the team and has a wealth of experience in both the care sector and office administration. Kim has also worked as a caregiver which she says is invaluable in her new role:

“Having worked directly with clients I really understand their needs and the importance of not only meeting but exceeding their expectations. That’s what Home Instead set out to do and I am delighted to be part of the team delivering that promise.”

Michael Lawson, owner of Home Instead, South Buckinghamshire, comments:

“I am delighted to welcome Jill and Kim, they will be fulfilling key roles in our expanding team. Such is the demand for our services that we have more job opportunities available right now and we would be delighted to hear from like-minded people who are interested in a career as a caregiver. No previous experience is needed as we provide full training.”

The Home Instead reputation is built on quality and providing a client-centred service so, for example, continuity of caregivers and the minimum one hour visits are just two examples of the quality of service that our clients really value. Services are tailored to the needs of individual clients and range from companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, post-discharge care, personal care, medication reminders, shopping and errands. The service is totally flexible to meet client needs and is available from as little as 1 hour to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
