Our client Jaspaul Vilkhu, who we have been caring for three years has received the honour of being praised by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson for his dedication of working as a sports coach with teenagers across the borough of Ealing.
Being awarded as a ‘Team London Star’ by Boris Johnson at a community reception represented Jaspaul displaying his kindness and commitment by generously spending time on local voluntary projects.
As quotes from Jaspaul in the Hounslow Gazette:
“I began volunteering two years ago; I belong to a disabled sports club. I play a French ball sport. It is really fun and very competitive. I then began to volunteer to help other people enjoy the sports I do, so now I work with about seven kids at a time.
At the main event, Boris Johnson’s himself said:
“It is amazing that someone with disabilities now helps other with disabilities. It is spotting that extraordinary selfless Londoners are being recognised for their contribution through volunteering in our capital".
