The scheme's range of activities include:
- Befriending
- Lunch club - every week day - we offer a 2 course lunch, costing £3.20. New members are always welcome, but they should ring the office in advance to book their place.
- Information service - pointing you to the services you need
- Supplying batteries to NHS Hearing Aid users.
- Supported shopping trips
- Regular trips, outings
- Personal advocacy - someone to speak on your behalf
The scheme is run by local people and supported by volunteers. It operates to support older people in the community who may be isolated and unable to get out and about as they used to.
