A steadily increasing client list and new accreditation is likely to lead to care at home provider Home Instead Peterborough Office taking on more care staff.
Since it was launched in January 2012, Home Instead Peterborough has grown steadily, providing companionship care to older people in Peterborough, Market Deeping, Whittlesey and Oundle. Recently the firm has been awarded Care Quality Commission accreditation, which allows it to increase its range of services to include personal care:
“Until this accreditation came through, we were unable to offer personal care, which would include such things as helping a person to bathe or dress,” said Jenni Austin, who took up the post of Care Manager in March 2012.
“Once the business was up and running we applied for CQC registration, completed all the relevant paperwork and following a favourable inspection, received notification that we had received accreditation. This enables us to offer a broader range of services, while giving clients and their families the peace of mind that we have been inspected and accredited and that we are a service that they can trust,” said Jenni.
