York home care company Home Instead Senior Care raised over £200 for Age UK York on 22nd April by hosting a coffee morning at St Aelred's Church Community Hall in Tang Hall, York. There was a delightful selection of cakes, buns and biscuits as well as a raffle. Home Instead care staff were generous enough to give their time by baking cakes and helping to sell them as well as serving tea and coffee.
The team at Home Instead were keen to raise some additional funds for Age UK York as they see first hand the great work they do to support older people in York.
A special thanks goes to the following people who all helped by baking or by being there on the day: Charlene Garrett, Helen Walsh, Izzy Cawley, Maggie Clark, Lisa Mclaren, Rose Williamson, Chris Wright, Laura Steele, Heather Norbury, Carolyn Norbury and Sharron Ellor.
Thanks also to Father Bill and the congregation at St Aelred's R.C. Church who were kind enough to let Home Instead host their coffee morning in support of Age UK York.
