On 25th September the Home Instead Senior Care team in York took part in the Memory Walk to support the Alzheimer’s Society. As a team we raised over £500 for our local Alzheimer’s Society branch and everyone (including Noah aged 5, Meriel aged 4 and Raphael aged 2) managed it around the 6 mile route which started and finished at York Racecourse. The whole team was keen to support the Alzheimer’s Society as so many of the clients we care for suffer from this disease and we see first-hand the excellent work that the Society does for people suffering from dementia and for their families.
