How are CAREGivers selected?
First, the Home Instead Senior Care franchise network looks for people that have a passion to help seniors live independently. Then each potential CAREGiver must successfully complete thorough personal and professional references and a criminal background check. Each CAREGiver is also fully insured.
How do you train your CAREGivers?
Home Instead CAREGivers participate in an exclusive senior care training program, which covers the practical topics and situations encountered in providing elder care.
What happens if my CAREGiver gets sick?
That is why the Home Instead Senior Care franchises employ a CAREGiver team approach. If one CAREGiver is sick, another is normally available to meet your home care needs.
Do you provide senior services to those in nursing homes or assisted living facilities?
Yes, Home Instead CAREGivers provide elderly companionship to residents in assisted living facilities and nursing homes who may require additional attention and/or personalised long term care.
What makes Home Instead Senior Care different from other companies?
There are several reasons why Home Instead Senior Care should be your choice for elderly companionship and home care. All CAREGivers are screened, trained and insured, and you don't need to worry about figuring out taxes. All CAREGivers are employed by ourselves, (we do not use agency staff), provide six references and undertake a full criminal records record check before employment. Plus, the Home Instead Senior Care network's large staff of quality employees ensures that the most compatible and reliable CAREGiver will be there for your family member or friend, including if your CAREGiver gets sick or goes on holiday.
Who pays the CAREGiver, you or me?
Your CAREGiver is employed by his or her Home Instead office, which means they handle all the billing, payroll, taxes, insurance and administrative responsibilities for your CAREGiver.
