The British Franchise Association's (bfa) 'Franchisor of the Year Awards' aim to recognise and promote the best in franchising. Cathryn Hayes, head of franchising at HSBC says, 'The HSBC Award for Enterprise is specifically aimed at recognising those franchisors who have developed creative business strategies to overcome challenges that would otherwise hinder growth and development, or who have established more effective ways of running their business to ensure long term sustainability; inspiring all those working within the franchise network.'
In announcing Home Instead as winners of the Award the judges stated:
'This brilliant concept has turned into a brilliant business that has created a network committed to improving the quality of life for thousands of older people, as well as their families...
The business has worked tirelessly to make sure its franchisees deliver a consistently high standard of service, supporting them through targeted marketing initiatives and management strategies that are truly delivering results.'
