Residents of Raglan Court in St. Helens raised over £100 for the Alzheimer’s Society at an afternoon quiz to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day organised by local at-home care company Home Instead Senior Care.
Naturally, green was the theme for the day and organisers and residents joined in the fun with silly hats and fancy dress. The Irish theme ran through the prizes too with bottles of Guinness and Irish truffles all up for grabs.
Kevin Warburton, owner of Home Instead Senior Care in St Helens has pledged his support to the Alzheimer’s Society to help them raise awareness and funds through a series of joint events. Following his recent Valentines Day event, he was again delighted with the turnout for the afternoon quiz. He said:
“Everyone had a great afternoon and the event was open to both residents and non-residents of Raglan Court. I would particularly like to thank Jo Burton from the Alzheimer’s Society for coming along too.”
