Local lady, Pauline Panteli, has been nominated for a national award for her outstanding services to the care sector. As a caregiver for Barnet at-home care company Home Instead Senior Care, she consistently goes above and beyond to deliver an outstanding service to all her clients. As a result Pauline is one of only ten finalists for Home Instead’s national competition and is now a contender for the prestigious title of ‘Caregiver of the Year’.
Pauline is 65 and lives in Southgate. She has only been working with the team for just over a year and was put forward for the award by Barnet’s owner Diana Bevington. In nominating her, Diana said: “When Pauline first joined us, she was only considering offering companionship to clients. She has progressed so much in just 12 months and is now a confident, competent and passionate caregiver who consistently goes above and beyond to help her clients.”
She continued: “She is completely dedicated but also extremely flexible and understanding. The nature of her job means that Pauline has had to deal with some upsetting and difficult situations but she always handles herself with the upmost professionalism and never fails to put others before herself. Pauline is not only a wonderful addition to the team, but she has flourished into a truly inspirational caregiver. ”
Home Instead now has over 80 offices across the UK and all offices were invited to nominate a caregiver for this prestigious award. The company’s national head office has interviewed each of the 10 finalists and the winner will be announced at the organisation’s national conference which is to take place in September.
